Threaded Measurement

How it Works

Process media flows through the internal U-tube of the Dynatrol CL-10HY Density Cell, driven into mechanical vibration by an electrically excited drive coil. As density or specific gravity changes, so does the effective mass of the U-tube, shifting its natural vibration frequency. A pick-up coil senses this frequency change and outputs a signal proportional to the media’s density, specific gravity, °Brix, API gravity or percent concentration.
