DynaCal 2006 is a free program offered to the customers of Dynatrol Density Meters. DynaCal 2006 can be used to calibrate the CL-10 HY density cells, analog density converters, and Series 2000 digital density converters.
The density of a product in a CL-10 HY density cell can be calculated by measuring the outputted frequency of the density cell. The temperature of the product can be calculated from the resistance of the RTD on the density cell. Both the frequency and RTD resistance can be inputted into DynaCal 2006 to calculate the raw density and temperature of the product in the density cell
Conversely, a frequency and resistance can be applied to a Series 2000 Digital converter to simulate the output of the density meter. This is especially helpful when bench testing or troubleshooting the Density meter. The frequency and resistance can be calculated for a given density and temperature of a product using DynaCal 2006.
