Level Indicators: Flyash Collection

The CL10-DJ series level indicators are used for flyash applications in power generation plants and for flyash collection. These level indicators are also used in applications where flyash is used as a filler.

Our CL10-DJ level probes are made from high strength stainless steel. For more abrasive or corrosive service, our level switches can be made from other materials. These level switch probes are well suited for the high temperature and harsh environments that are always a part of flyash applications.

Our level switch system also contains the electronic circuitry that both operates the level probe and makes decisions regarding level switching. The control unit is the EC 501A.

The EC 501A level switch control unit contains circuitry that performs both frequency and voltage analysis to make decisions regarding the actual level switch point. This technology has been added to the level control in order to reduce false tripping and make level measurements more dependable.


Density Measurement Applications

The Dynatrol® CL10-HY Density Cell and Series 2000 Density Digital Converter can be used to measure density, specific gravity or percent solids of water treatment chemicals such as caustic soda or sulphuric acid.  Our equipment is also used to measure black liquor, green liquor and lime slurries, etc. at process conditions.

The Dynatrol® Density System has dual analog outputs that can be factory programmed for your products.  The first analog output is proportional to a range in density, Baumé, weight percent, etc.  The second analog output is used for temperature.  Our application software is written to use temperature and density information that comes from the CL10-HY cell to calculate various units at process conditions


Viscosity Applications: Fuel Oil and Waste Oil

The Dynatrol® CL10-DV series Viscosity Meter and Series 3000 Viscosity Digital Converter are used to measure the viscosity of fuel oil in fuel oil to burner applications.  Thus, helping to increase combustion efficiency and decrease particulate emissions.  Dynatrol® Viscosity Systems are also used in waste oil incineration and waste oil pumping applications.
