The CL10-DJ level switch system consists of a vibrating probe that is used as a level sensor and a remote control unit which contains the level switch. This control unit has the part number EC 501A.

The EC 501A is more than just a level indicator, it contains circuitry that performs frequency analysis, voltage analysis and makes decisions regarding the actual level switch point. This technology is added to the level control in order to reduce false tripping and make our level measurement more dependable.This level switch does very well in coal hoppers and can withstand buildup without false tripping.

Our CL10-DJ level probes can be made from 316 stainless steel. For more abrasive or corrosive service, our level switches can be made from even more durable materials. These level indicators are well suited for the harsh environments that are always a part of coal applications.
