Density Measurement Applications

The Dynatrol^® CL10-HY Density Cell and Series 2000 Density Digital Converter are designed to calculate the density, percent substance expressed as °Brix, or Baumé of sugar syrups.  Dynatrol^® Density Systems may be used to measure syrup at cutting mills and sugar refineries, as well as in evaporators and crystallization vacuum pans.  These accurate and reliable measurements can be performed at process conditions.

The Dynatrol^® Density System has two 4 to 20 milliamp outputs.  The first output can be configured to reflect any of the measurement units (Baumé, °Brix, density, specific gravity, etc.), while the second output carries product temperature information.

Bulk Solids Level Measurement

The Dynatrol^® CL10-DJ Level Detector complete with EC-501A control unit is used for high-, intermediate-, or low-level detection of bulk solids in bins, hoppers or silos.  Within the sugar industry typical applications may include:

Liquid Level Measurement

The Dynatrol^® Type CL-10GH Liquid Level Detector complete with EC-501A-(G) control unit is used for application to either high or low point level detection of Corn Syrup, Fructose Syrup, Invert Sugar Syrup, Liquid Sugar Cane, Maple Syrup, Sugar Liquor or Sucrose Syrup in the Sugar Industry.

This Dynatrol^® Detector may be mounted on a vessel or in piping, and easily detects the level of a wide range of liquids and slurries. The unique vibrating principle permits design and operation features not available with other types of liquid level detectors.
