Viscosity Measurement for Asphalt Shingle Manufacturing
The Dynatrol® CL10-DV series Viscosity Meters and Series 3000 Viscosity Digital Converter are used for asphalt viscosity measurement. Our viscosity systems accurately measure the viscosity of hot liquid asphalt, filled asphalt, and asphalt adhesives used in the manufacturing of roofing shingles.
Dynatrol Viscosity probes are manufactured from high strength stainless steel for use in very unforgiving environments, such as those found in roofing material plants. These probes can withstand high temperatures, dust, dirt and at the same time send out very accurate viscosity information.
The Dynatrol Viscosity Digital Converter was designed for use with all Dynatrol viscosity systems. Using microcontroller technology the converter accepts information from a Dynatrol viscosity probe and calculates the viscosity of the liquid under test.
Level Indicator for Roofing Materials Manufacturing
The Dynatrol® CL10-DJ series Level Indicators are used for point level detection. Excellent applications may include finely ground limestone, sand, granules of ceramic-coated minerals such as talc & mica used in roofing shingles manufacturing.
Our CL10-DJ level probes are made from high strength stainless steel. These level probes require no adjustments and having no moving parts, they are virtually wear-free.
The level switch control unit EC-501A performs frequency and voltage analysis to make decisions regarding the actual level switch point. This technology has been added to the level control in order to reduce false tripping and make level measurements more dependable. This combination of level sensor design, along with our unique electronics, makes our level switch system both reliable and rugged.
